ARCHEOLOGICAL CONSERVATIOn  The Eureka Ranch Projects

Eureka Ranch is a twelve acre quarter horse ranch that includes several archeological sites that date to about 900 AD or earlier; although our horses are completely restricted from about six acres, the size and age of the previous occupation have left artifacts over most of the property including the area on which the horses run. This has caused us to have two different sets of archeological rules: one set supporting future study and one supporting preserving surface finds before they are destroyed.
